The Mt. Vernon City Council held an Executive Session at 7:50 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2004.
The purpose of this Executive Session was for discussion regarding personnel and real estate.
Present were: Council Member Ricky D. Heck, Council Member John Howard, Council Member David E. Keen, Council Member Mike Walker and Mayor Milton R. Sees. Also present were: City Manager Roy L. Payne, City Clerk Jackie Sharp, City Attorney David R. Leggans , Assistant City Manager Mary Ellen Furtansky and Human Resources Director Mary Jo Pemberton.
Discussion was held regarding the Veterans Memorial Drive / Overpass project and the ‘quick-take’ issue that was discussed earlier in the open meeting.
City Manager Roy L. Payne spoke regarding progress with the union negotiations.
Executive Session ended at 8:12 p.m. and Council returned to open session.
