CITY COUNCIL EXECUTIVE SESSION
OCTOBER 4, 2004
The Mt. Vernon City Council met in Executive Session on Monday, October 4, 2004, at 8:05 p.m. in the Park Office.
Present were: Council Member Ricky D. Heck, Council Member John Howard, Council Member David E. Keen, Council Member Mike Walker and Mayor Milton R. Sees. Also present were: City Manager Roy L. Payne, City Clerk Jackie Sharp, City Attorney David R. Leggans and Assistant City Manager Mary Ellen Futransky.
The purpose of this Executive Session was to discuss personnel.
City Manager Roy L. Payne stated that the Fire and Police Commission would be conducting interviews for the three persons that turned in letters of interest in becoming Assistant Police Chief.
Discussion was held regarding the salary to be set for the position of the new Assistant Police Chief.
Council returned to Regular Session at 8:29 p.m.
