Created in 1957, DFI is a regulatory
agency serving the people of Illinois under the express control and
administrative jurisdiction of the Governor. The Financial
Institutions Code provides the authority to regulate, license, examine
and investigate currency exchanges, credit unions, consumer finance

The mission of the
IDPR is to serve, safeguard, and promote the public welfare by ensuring
that licensure qualifications and standards for professional practice
are properly evaluated, accurately applied and vigorously enforced.
This site allows individuals to look up
licenses of all professionals licensed by the Illinois Department of
Professional Regulation, including doctors, dentists, nurses, nurse
practitioners, dental hygienists, architects, real estate appraisers
and agents, chiropractors, etc. This site also provides
the ability to file a complaint by email. A complete list of
