City Council Executive Session
November 20, 2006
The Mt. Vernon City Council held an Executive Session on Monday, November 20, 2006.
Mayor David E. Keen called the Executive Session to order at 7:36 p.m.
Present were Mayor David E. Keen, Council Member Ricky D. Heck, Council Member Shirilyn Holt, Council Member John Howard and Council Member Mike Walker. City Clerk Jackie Sharp, Interim City Manager Merle Hollmann and City Attorney David R. Leggans.
The purpose of this meeting was Regarding the Sale and Purchase of Real Estate and Pending Litigation.
Under the Pending Litigation, discussion was held regarding the settlement of a pending lawsuit.
Under purchase of real estate, discussion was held regarding property for the Sewer Plant.
Under the sale of Real Estate, discussion was held regarding the sale of 7 ½ acres to a development.
Council returned to Regular Session at 8:40 p.m.
