City Council Executive Session

July 21, 2008

The Mt. Vernon City Council met in Executive Session on Monday, July 21, 2008 at 8:30 p.m.

Present were:  Council Member Shirilyn Holt, Council Member Mary Burgan, Council Member Mike Walker, Council Member David Wood and Mayor Mary Jane Chesley.  Also present were:  Finance Director Merle Hollmann, Human Resources Director, City Attorney David Leggans, Attorney Jerry McDonald and City Clerk Jackie Sharp.

The purpose of this meeting was for Discussion regarding a City Employee EEOC Claim.  Mediation was held on July 10, 2008. Mr. McDonald gave a report.

The Executive Session ended at 8:59 p.m. and Council returned to Regular Session for adjournment.
