Mayor Mary
Jane Chesley called the second of the TIF Public Hearings to order at 6:45 p.m.
in the Rolland W. Lewis Community Building at
Present
were: Council Member Mary Burgan, Council Member Dennis McEnaney, Council Member
Todd Piper, Council Member David Wood and Mayor Mary Jane Chesley.
Mayor
Chesley stated that the purpose of this second TIF Public Hearing was to receive
public comments and questions regarding the Adoption of the TIF Redevelopment
Plan and Project for the Route 15/I57 Redevelopment Project Area.
City Manager
Ron Neibert again turned the meeting over to Rick Weber of PGAV of St. Louis,
MO. to speak regarding this TIF.
Mr. Weber
stated that this is a more traditional type TIF.
It is a more combination area and some of the area is in a blighted
condition. Over ½ of the buildings in the area are very old. This TIF area is
about 126 acres lying just east of the other TIF area. The area has 22 vacant
parcels within it.
City Manager
Ron Neibert asked if Council had any questions.
Council Member Todd Piper asked if there were any zoning problems with
this proposal. City Manager Neibert
stated that no there were not.

Ron Neibert asked if the public had any questions or comments.
None were heard.
Motion by
Council Member Todd Piper to adjourn this City Council Public Hearing.
Second by Council Member David Wood.
