RECRUITMENT
The Mt. Vernon Fire and Police Commission is charged with the appointment of all Firefighters. The Board of the Mt. Vernon Fire and Police Commission holds examinations for qualified persons to establish an eligibility list from which Firefighter vacancies will be filled. The current list expires November 9, 2008.
