The Public Works Department is one of the
largest departments within the City government.
Responsibilities include the construction,
repair, and maintenance of City streets and flood control storm
sewers, the cleanup of debris in the event of a storm, tree
removals on City right of way deemed necessary. Public
Works also provides snow removal services for all of the City
streets in addition to mowing of City right of ways.
Public Works maintains the City's
traffic control system which includes all traffic signals within
the City limits. They are responsible for installing,
repairing, and maintaining traffic signs and street signs. |
