Bid Invitation – 2025-26 Manhole Lining Project

Sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk of Mt. Vernon at City Hall, Room 100, 1100 Main Street, Mt. Vernon, Illinois 62864, until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately following the deadline.

The project consists of lining 68 existing sanitary sewer manholes located throughout the city. The manholes range in depth from approximately 5.5 feet to 20 feet, with a total estimated vertical footage of 575 feet.

Bid packets and complete project specifications are available below and on the City of Mt. Vernon website at www.mtvernon.com/bids.

Envelopes containing bids must be plainly marked on the outside with:
“2025-26 MANHOLE LINING PROJECT”
