Invitation to Bid: Demolition Project

Sealed proposals will be received by the City Clerk of Mount Vernon at 1100 Main Street, Mount Vernon, Illinois 62864, until 10:00 a.m. local time on June 11, 2025, at which time and place said proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The project consists of the demolition of twelve (12) properties. All work will be awarded under one contract encompassing all listed properties.

All properties are located in Mount Vernon, Illinois.

Specifications may be obtained from Brad Ruble at the City of Mount Vernon Engineering Department, 1100 Main Street, Mount Vernon, Illinois, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The City of Mount Vernon reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof. The successful bidder must comply with all equal opportunity employment requirements.
