Housing Rehabilitation Grant Public Hearing
The City of Mt. Vernon will hold a public hearing at City Hall on July 8th, 2026 at 10:00 AM at City Hall in regards to the City’s application for a Housing Rehabilitation Grant through the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.

We need at least 10 owner-occupied, income-eligible households to attend. Crosswalk CAA will be in attendance to go over grant guidelines and program standards.

If you cannot attend the public hearing, you may fill out an Income Survey. They are available at City Hall at the water department. These are used in the application to the state on behalf of the city of Mt. Vernon and are NOT applications.

All interested households are urged to attend the public hearing or to fill out a survey.
