Notice of Invitation to Bid on Winter 2026 Demolition Project
The City of Mt. Vernon will receive Bids for the Winter 2026 Demolition Project until 10:00 A.M. on January 14, 2026, at The City of Mt. Vernon 1100 Main Street, Mt. Vernon, IL, 62864 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The addresses of all properties included in the project are as follows:

- 1109 Wescott
- 1209 S. 24th Street
- 1017 Herbert
- 1220 S. 12th Street
- 1201 Shawnee
- 1416 S. 28th Street
- 1101 Perkins
Specifications may be obtained in person from the office of the City Engineer at 1100 Main Street, Mt. Vernon, IL 62864.
