Bidding now open for the 2025-26 Manhole Lining Project — deadline June 24.

The City of Mt. Vernon is now accepting sealed bids for the 2025-26 Manhole Lining Project. This project includes lining 66 manholes, ranging in depth from 5.5 to 20 feet, with an estimated total of 561 vertical feet.

Bids will be accepted at the City Clerk’s Office, located in City Hall, Room 100, 1100 Main Street, Mt. Vernon, IL 62864, until 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. At that time, all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Bid specifications and packets are available through the City Clerk’s Office at the address listed above or can be downloaded at mtvernon.com/bids.

The City of Mt. Vernon reserves the right to reject any and all bids and may accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the City. All bidders must be equal opportunity employers. Bid envelopes must be clearly marked on the outside as follows: “2025-26 MANHOLE LINING PROJECT.”
