City of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Addresses Lead Line Survey Completion
The City of Mt. Vernon is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of its residents. In line with this commitment, the city has hired Schulte, a reputable company, to conduct door-to-door visits to residents who have not yet completed and returned their lead line survey.
The lead line survey is crucial for understanding the potential presence of lead in the city's water infrastructure and taking appropriate measures to address any concerns. Residents who have not yet submitted their surveys are encouraged to do so promptly to contribute to the city's ongoing efforts to ensure water safety.
Schulte representatives will be visiting households starting on January 11, 2024, to kindly request residents to fill out the survey and submit it. For those who may require assistance in completing the survey, Schulte is equipped to schedule follow-up appointments to provide support.
The city appreciates the cooperation of its residents in this important initiative and encourages everyone to participate in the lead line survey process. By working together, we can ensure the continued safety of our community's water supply.
