Fire Hydrant Flushing Scheduled For This Week

The Mt. Vernon Fire Department will be flushing hydrants (weather permitting) next week, from Tuesday, May 27 through Friday, May 30.

THE AREAS TO BE TESTED WILL BE:

South of Broadway from 1^st Street to 12^th Street

Residents are cautioned that flushing hydrants can cause discoloration in the water supply in the area being tested.
