🚨 System-Wide Boil Water Order in Effect 🚨

Due to work on a main transmission line, a system-wide boil water order has been issued. This affects not only the City of Mt. Vernon, but also all communities that receive their water from the City’s supply.

The order is expected to remain in place for 24–48 hours. An official update will be issued as soon as the order is lifted.

Reminder: Housing Grant Applications Tomorrow

Don’t forget! Walk-in applications for the Mt. Vernon 2024 Housing Rehabilitation Grant will be accepted TOMORROW – Wednesday, June 18 at Mt. Vernon City Hall.

🕘 9 AM–12 PM & 1 PM–3 PM
📍 City Hall, Council Chambers

📌 Must apply in person and bring all required documents – no exceptions.

✔️ Mt. Vernon residents only
✔️ Owner-occupied homes
✔️ Must have current homeowners insurance
