Upcoming Asphalt Paving – Sept. 18 & 19

Weather permitting, the City of Mt. Vernon Public Works Department will be paving the following streets:

• Thursday, Sept. 18
  • Jordan Street (4th St → 10th St)
  • S 23rd Street (Logan St → Perkins Ave)

• Friday, Sept. 19
  • S 22nd Street (Broadway → Logan St)

Work hours: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. each day
Traffic: Streets will be partially closed
Parking: No street parking allowed during paving

Paving will be done one lane at a time. Residents on the active lane may experience up to 2 hours of limited driveway access during paving. Once the first lane is complete, work will shift to the opposite lane.
