Birthday Party Packages

Party Packages are offered during general swim hours. Each package includes admission, refreshments, and a souvenir t-shirt for the guest of honor.

Private Rentals

Looking to host a bigger event or reserve a section of the park for your group?

To rent part of the Aquatic Zoo:

1. Call the Park Office to check date availability.
2. Submit a rental agreement form online or download the form and return it in person to the Park's Office (south side of the Roland Lewis Building).
3. Please note: Reservations are not accepted until May 1, 2026, and are secured only after a full payment is made.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change!

Cancellations made at least two weeks before your event will receive a full refund, minus any expenses already incurred by the Mt. Vernon Parks and Recreation Department.

Unfortunately, no refunds can be issued for cancellations made less than two weeks before your scheduled event.

If severe weather occurs during your private rental and does not pass within a reasonable time, management may close the facility for safety reasons. In this case, you’ll have the option to reschedule at no extra cost. If another date isn’t available, a weather-related refund will be issued for the full amount, minus any expenses incurred by the department.
