Facility Rentals

Planning an event, meeting, or celebration? The Mt. Vernon Parks and Recreation Department offers several rental options to fit your needs — from large indoor spaces to outdoor park shelters and sports fields.

Roland Lewis Community Building

Located in Veterans Memorial Park, the Rolland Lewis Community Building offers 7,000 square feet of rental space. The building can be rented as a whole or divided into smaller areas.

• Full Building Rental includes the north and south areas, a small meeting room, kitchen, and restrooms.
• Partial Rental provides shared use of the kitchen area and restrooms at no additional cost.

To rent the Rolland Lewis Community Building:

• You must call the Park Office to confirm availability before submitting your application.
• Submitting an application does not guarantee a reservation.
• To secure your reservation, payment must be made within two weeks of submitting your application.
• Payments can be made over the phone or in person at the Park Office.

Park Shelters

There are four park shelters available for rent — each with access to water and electricity. Shelters are located in Veterans Park and Dawson Park.

To reserve a shelter:

• You must call the Park Office to confirm availability.
• Submitting an application does not guarantee a reservation.
• To secure your reservation, payment must be made within two weeks of submitting your application.
• Payments can be made over the phone or in person at the Park Office.

Cusumano Sports Complex

Located in Lincoln Park, the Cusumano Sports Complex features four baseball/softball fields available for rent. Fields can be rented individually or as a four-field complex.

Rental includes:

• Field preparation and line chalking
• Use of restroom facilities

To rent one or more fields:

• You must call the Park Office to confirm availability.
• Submitting an application does not guarantee a reservation.
• To secure your reservation, payment must be made within two weeks of submitting your application.
• Payments can be made over the phone or in person at the Park Office.
