Treasurers Report

Within six months after the end of each fiscal year, the municipal treasurer must prepare a statement of receipts and disbursements. This statement, known as the Annual Treasurer’s Report, is required under Chapter 24, paragraphs 3-10-5.1 through 3-10-5.4 of the Illinois Revised Statutes. The report is published annually in the local newspaper.

Each report includes:

  • A summary of revenues, expenditures, and changes in fund balance of the City’s funds.
  • The total amount disbursed to vendors receiving over $2,500.
  • The name and gross amount received in compensation by each elected official and employee.
