Assistant Director of Public Works

Field Supervisor
Position Type: Full Time
Hours of Work: Office hours are Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some evenings and weekends maybe required
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000
Department: Public Works Department
Applicants must have expert communication, strong organizational, project management, excellent record keeping, leadership, and budgeting skills, and a commitment to citizen service and community involvement, budgeting skills, and other job-related skills. A CDL and a Class "D" Water Supply Operators license must be acquired within 1 year of employment.
Telecommunicator
Position Type: Full time, required to work mainly nights, weekends, and holidays
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
Salary: $26.62 an hour and a 4% increase when EMD certified
Department: Police Department

Applicants are required to have good communication skills; clear speaking voice, free of speech impediments; ability to hear and distinguish voices on the radio traffic; ability to become certified as a LEADS operator; ability to obtain Emergency Medical Dispatch certification; ability to work efficiently in emergency situations; and ability to pass thorough background security check performed by Police Department personnel.
