Parks and Recreation Program Assistant

Position Type: Part Time

Hours of Work: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., may require evening and weekends, up to 1,000 hours annually

Salary: $17.00 per hour

Department: Parks Department

The position requires a valid Driver’s License. Applicants must be able to pass basic reading, and math test.  High School diploma or its equivalency is preferred. Candidates must be able to work various shifts, work independently, perform physically demanding work in various environments, and have exceptional customer service skills. No benefits. Applicants are subject to background checks and medical assessments, including drug screen.

Laborer

Position Type: Full Time

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, 7 a.m. - 4 p.m., may require evening and weekends

Salary: $23.80 per hour and benefits w/CDL, $19.04 per hour no CDL and benefits

Department: Public Works

Applicants must demonstrate ability in the basic skills of carpentry, electrical, welding, plumbing, janitorial, mechanics, and lift 80 lbs. A CDL is required within 6 months of hire, training will be provided by the city. Billing Services Clerk

Position Type: Part Time, Potential For Full Time

Hours of Work: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday, up to 1,000 hours annually, may transition to full time.

Salary: $19.00 per hour

Under the general direction of the Finance Director, the Billing Services Supervisor, and the Lead Billing Services Clerk, processes all types of service orders for water, sewer, and refuse utility customers; prepares final or special billings; prepares work orders for service personnel as needed; computes routine adjustments on utility bills; updates meter reading sheets; handles collection of accounts receivables; investigates and evaluates customer complaints; refers customers to the Lead Billing Services Clerk for resolution of complaints; operates two-way radio, calculator, computer, copy machine, postage meter and similar office equipment..
