Demolition projects remove unsafe and deteriorated structures, making room for new opportunities and safer neighborhoods.
200 Potomac Boulevard Demolition
Project Details: The City decided to demolish the former building at 200 Potomac Boulevard due to the condition of the structure and the cost of repairs exceeding the value of continued use. The property is expected to be marketed for future redevelopment opportunities following completion of site cleanup activities.

Veterans Park Tennis Court Renovations

EPA Community Project Funding Sewer Rehabilitation Project
Project Details: This multi-phase project will repair and rehabilitate portions of the City's sewer infrastructure in an area south of Broadway, east of 27th Street, and north of Veterans Memorial Drive. The project includes sewer inspection, repair work, and sewer lining improvements to improve long-term system performance and reliability.

2026 Sidewalk Replacement Project
Project Details: The City is preparing to replace an estimated 8,000 to 10,000 linear feet of sidewalk at various locations throughout the community as part of the 2026 Sidewalk Replacement Project. The project is intended to improve sidewalk conditions, accessibility, and pedestrian safety.

Project Details: The City is completing roadway maintenance improvements at various locations throughout the community as part of the 2026-2027 Annual Street Maintenance Program.
