Welcome to the Aquatic Zoo
We want every guest to have a safe and enjoyable experience at the Aquatic Zoo. Please review the following rules and guidelines before your visit. Our goal is to provide a clean, family-friendly environment where everyone can have fun in the sun.
Water Park Rules
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review and follow all facility rules:
- All children 15 and under must be accompanied by someone 18 or older.
- Proper swimwear is required. Cutoff shorts, gym shorts, sports bras, or other non-swim attire are not permitted in the pools.
- No breath-holding contests or games.
- No stomach floats are allowed.
- No outside food or drinks are permitted inside the facility.
- All swimmers ages 11 and under must be actively supervised.
- Follow all instructions given by lifeguards and staff at all times.
What does “actively supervising” mean?
- Staying close enough to your child to assist immediately if needed.
- Keeping non-swimmers in shallow water—never beyond chest or shoulder depth.
- Always keeping your child in sight, including during restroom or concession breaks.
- Being in the water with non-swimmers, not seated nearby.
FAQs
What happens if the weather gets bad?
Every attempt will be made to wait out poor weather conditions. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances. Updates will be posted on the Aquatic Zoo’s Facebook page if the pool will be opening late, closing early, or not opening due to weather.
How old do my children have to be to visit to the Aquatic Zoo alone?
Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by someone 18 or older. A valid ID may be required to verify ages. Adults are expected to actively chaperone minors at all times, including restroom or concession trips.
How are your lifeguards trained?
ll lifeguards are American Red Cross Certified or Starguard Certified professionals.
Is there a concession stand?
Yes. The Aquatic Zoo concession stand offers a wide variety of drinks and snacks. Outside food is not permitted, but guests may have their hand stamped to leave and return the same day to eat outside the facility.
Is there a place to eat outside the water park?
Yes. A public shelter with picnic tables is located just outside the Aquatic Zoo. The shelter is not available for reservation and is open on a first-come, first-served basis.
What do I do with my belongings while I am at the AZ?
Lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You may bring your own lock or purchase one at the facility.
