Bulk Item Collection

Bulk item collection services are offered to our residents free of charge. Bulk waste is defined to be a piece of furniture or waste material from a residential source. This does NOT include construction waste or hazardous materials. 

Requirements

Bulk item pick-up is on Friday of every week. Residents are required to call Republic Services at least 48 hours in advance before the pickup day to arrange for service. For example, if you need a couch picked up you must call by end of day Wednesday to get on the schedule for Friday. Bulk item pick up is limited to 200 pounds per week.

Items Not Accepted

  • appliances
  • construction debris
  • electronics
  • tires

Larger Items

Items that cannot be picked up curbside can be taken Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, by residents to the closest transfer station. Disposal rates are based on weight and will apply.

  • liquid paint or paint thinner
  • tires
  • batteries
  • motor oil
  • anti-freeze
  • gasoline
  • fluorescent bulbs
  • propane tanks
  • pool chemicals
  • aerosol products
  • appliances
  • items or debris containing asbestos
  • yard and landscape waste
