The Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) is a federal law that makes sure our drinking water is safe. This law requires all water systems to provide customers with a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) every year.
The City of Mt. Vernon Water Department follows this rule by publishing a yearly report. Each report shows how clean and safe our water is, based on testing and state standards.
