Water Service Requests
Starting New Water Service
New water accounts must be opened in person at the Billing Services Office inside City Hall.
Here’s what you need to bring:
- A completed Water Service Request Form, this can be submitted online or downloaded and submitted in person.
- A valid photo ID (driver’s license or state-issued ID)
- Proof of residency (lease agreement or warranty deed)
- A deposit:
- $100.00 for residential service
- For commercial service, the deposit amount depends on the size of the water meter
All new accounts include:
- Curbside garbage pickup
- Recycling
- Yard waste collection
Service Start Times
- Your service will be turned on the next business day
- Need it sooner? Same-day service is available for an extra $150.00 fee
- To avoid delays, please request your service at least three days in advance
Don’t Forget to Disconnect Service When You Move
If you’re moving out, remember to cancel your water and sewer service. You will continue to be billed until service is turned off.
To cancel, please:
- Contact the Billing Services Department at least 24 hours in advance
- Provide your new forwarding address
