Conditional Use Permit
Sometimes, people want to use land for a purpose that isn’t normally allowed in that area. When this happens, they can ask for special permission called a Conditional Use Permit.
How to Apply
To request a Conditional Use Permit:
- Fill out an application
- Submit it to the City Manager
What Happens Next?
- The Planning and Zoning Commission will review your request.
- After that, the City Council will decide if the permit is approved or denied.
Important Things to Know
- Conditional Use Permits often come with special rules or requirements.
- Some permits are only good for a limited amount of time.
- These permits are granted to a specific person — they do not transfer if the property is sold.
