Parks and Recreation Program Assistant
Position Type: Part Time
Hours of Work: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., may require evening and weekends, up to 1,000 hours annually
Salary: $17.00 per hour

The position requires a valid Driver’s License. Applicants must be able to pass basic reading, and math test. High School diploma or its equivalency is preferred. Candidates must be able to work various shifts, work independently, perform physically demanding work in various environments, and have exceptional customer service skills. No benefits. Applicants are subject to background checks and medical assessments, including drug screen.
Telecommunicator
Position Type: Full time, required to work mainly nights, weekends, and holidays
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
Salary: $23.40 an hour, holiday pay, 2.5% increase when EMD certified

Applicants are required to have good communication skills; clear speaking voice, free of speech impediments; ability to hear and distinguish voices on the radio traffic; ability to become certified as a LEADS operator; ability to obtain Emergency Medical Dispatch certification; ability to work efficiently in emergency situations; and ability to pass thorough background security check performed by Police Department personnel. Probationary Firefighter
Position Type: Full Time
Hours of Work: Twenty-four (24) hour shifts, with forty-eight (48) hours off in between.
Salary: $63,511 Annual Salary
Department: Fire Department
Under the direction of the Fire Chief or designee, the applicant responds to fires, responds to medical emergencies, and maintains municipal fire equipment. Applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 35 on the date of test, have a valid driver's license, be a U.S. Citizen, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants will be required to pass a physical agility test, written exam, background/credit checks, and medical assessment with drug screen. EEO/ADA Employer.
