Water Service Requests

New accounts must be opened in person at the Billing Services Office located inside City Hall.

The following information is needed for new accounts:

  • Completed Water Service Request form, this can be submitted online or downloaded and submitted in person.
  • A copy of a valid photo ID (driver’s license or state-issued ID)
  • A copy of proof of residency (lease agreement or warranty deed)
  • For a residential connection, a deposit of $100.00 is required
  • For commercial connection, the amount of deposit required is based on the size of the meter.
  • All customers receive curbside garbage, recycling and yard waste pickup
  • All service orders will be completed the next business day. Same-day service is offered with an additional $150.00 fee. To avoid delays, request service connects at least three days in advance.

Don't Forget!

Make sure to have your water and sewer service disconnected when you move. All customers will continue to be billed through the date they disconnect service. To cancel service, contact the Billing Services Department at least 24 hours in advance. Please have your forwarding address available.
